Characteristics of the varieties:

Blueberry 'Chandler'

• Fruit: Exceptionally large, often reaching a diameter of up to 2.5 cm, juicy, sweet and aromatic.
• Shrub: Dense, spreading, it reaches a height of 1.5-2 m.

Bluecrop blueberry

• Fruit: Large, firm, light blue, with a sweet and sour taste.
• Shrub: Upright, compact habit, height 1.5-2 m.
• Harvest period: End of July – August.

Blueberry 'Duke'

• Fruit: Medium to large, spherical, light blue, firm, sweet and sour.
• Shrub: Upright, compact habit, height 1.5-2 m.

Blueberry cultivation:

• Position: Sunny, warm and sheltered from the wind.
• Soil: Acidic (pH 4.5-5.5), permeable, moderately moist.
• Watering: Regular, especially during periods of drought.
• Fertilization: Fertilizers for acidophilic plants used in spring and summer.
• Care: Mulching with pine needles or pine bark keeps the soil acidic and moist.
