The blue hyphae (Koeleria glauca), also known as blue bentgrass, is an ornamental perennial grass that is distinguished by its blue-silvery leaves and compact, tufted habit.

Appearance: The blue hyphae forms compact clumps about 20-40 cm high. The leaves are narrow, blue-silvery, which gives the plant an elegant and delicate appearance. The leaves remain attractive for most of the growing season.
Inflorescences: The plant blooms from late spring to early summer. The inflorescences are delicate, paniculate, silvery-green in color, which over time take on a brown hue. The inflorescences add lightness and movement to the plant.
Requirements: The blue hyphae prefers sunny positions and well-drained soils. It is a drought-tolerant plant and does well in poor soils, which makes it ideal for rock gardens and dry locations.
