Magnolia, belonging to the magnolia family, is a plant with a rich history and species diversity. Its name commemorates the French botanist Pierre Magnol. It has been cultivated in China for about 2500 years, it came to Europe in the 18th century, and in Poland at the beginning of the 20th century.
