Meyer's lilac 'Palibin' 2L

Meyer's lilac 'Palibin' (Syringa meyeri 'Palibin') is a compact variety of lilac, which is characterized by abundant flowering and a compact, spherical habit. Due to its low requirements and decorativeness, it is a popular choice for small gardens, as well as for balconies and terraces, where it can be grown in containers. 

• Flowers: Small, purple-pink, gathered in dense, paniculate inflorescences. The flowers are strongly fragrant, which attracts pollinating insects such as bees and butterflies. Lilac 'Palibin' blooms profusely from May to June, and sometimes can repeat flowering to a lesser extent in late summer.
• Height: It is a compact variety that reaches about 1-1.5 meters in height and similar width. This makes it perfect for small gardens, for low hedges or for growing in pots.
• Leaves: The leaves are small, dark green, with a glossy surface, which adds decorative value to the plant throughout the season.
• Position: It grows best in sunny positions, where it blooms most profusely. It also tolerates partial shade, although flowering may be slightly weaker in such conditions.
