Sage

Sage (Salvia) is a genus of plants that includes many species, both annual and perennial, prized for their decorative flowers and aromatic leaves. In gardening, varieties with intense purple flowers, such as downy sage 'Violet Queen' or sage 'Purple Rain', are particularly popular.

Characteristics:
