Microgreens are young, edible plants harvested in the early stages of growth when they develop cotyledons and the first pair of leaves. They are often referred to as "superfoods" because they contain more vitamins and minerals compared to older plants. They are a great addition to salads, sandwiches, smoothies and many other dishes, enriching them with intense taste and nutritional value.

Advantages of growing microgreens:

  • Fast growth time: Microgreens can be harvested as early as 7-14 days after sowing.

  • Easy to grow: They can be grown year-round at home, and they do not require specialized equipment or large space.

  • High nutritional value: They contain concentrated amounts of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.

Microgreens care:

  • Sowing: Sow the seeds densely on a moist substrate, pressing lightly.

  • Position: Place the container in a bright place, but avoid direct sunlight.

  • Watering: Keep the substrate constantly moist, preferably with a spray bottle so as not to overwater the seeds.

  • Harvest: Once the plants have developed cotyledons and the first pair of leaves, cut them just above the surface of the substrate.
